Meet Dr. Henry Vicioso
Henry Vicioso, DDS
I am passionate about dentistry, the professional challenge it offers, and most importantly the interactions I have with my patients. It is rewarding to see a patient change throughout treatment as I help better their overall health. It is a gift for which I am always grateful. I am proud to provide the best dental care without compromise, and our patients recognize that. It helps build trust and a great relationship.
My original degree is in Electronics Engineering Technology, which I received from Devry Institute of Technology in 1979. In 1986, I attended Loyola University Of Chicago for my Bachelor of Science Degree. Then, in 1990, I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University Of Illinois College Of Dentistry, and served a clinical internship in Oral Medicine at the college in 1991.
I am committed to continuing my education in order to provide the absolute best care possible. Our patients deserve a smile they can be proud of, so we use the latest advances in all phases of care to help them achieve those smiles. I have been involved in several conferences and organizations, including:
- Cosmetic and Reconstructive Training, Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, 2004
- Imtec Mini Implant Certificate, Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry, 2004
- Invisalign® Premier Provider, 2006
- Periodontal Surgery Training, Indiana University School of Dentistry, 2007
- Post-doctorate Training, Illinois Society of Orthodontics, 2008

I have been providing quality dental care for 20 years, 15 of which have been in the Joliet community. We have a wonderful team. They are truly the heart of all we do. They provide fun, outgoing, and professional service. With so many unique individuals in our office, there is so much energy, and we come together as a team to give the best possible smiles to our patients.
I live in Joliet with my lovely wife, Amy, and our dog, Mabel. When I’m not creating beautiful smiles, I spend my time traveling, bike riding, and racing vintage automobiles.
Community involvement is important to me. Many of our patients are my neighbors, and I love giving back to my community. I am active in the Shorewood Area Chamber of Commerce, and Will Buy Local, as well as support the C.W. Avery Family YMCA, Joliet Junior Woman’s Club, Joliet Boys and Girls Club, Holly Club, and United Cerebral Palsy. I also serve on the executive board and volunteer my dental services with the Will-Grundy Medical Clinic.
