Diode Laser

Shorewood Family Dental Care is excited to introduce Laser treatment for periodontal (gum) therapy. Our dental hygiene department earned certification in May 2008 through the academy of laser dentistry and now offers levels of non surgical laser treatment. These procedures are utilized by less than 5% of the profession.

The Diode Laser selectively removes only infected areas of the disease allowing healthy tissue to heal in a sterilized environment. Patients experience a more comfortable appointment with quicker, better results for conservative, preventive treatment for gum disease.
